What would a vegan diet plan be? Vegan means a person who chooses to be completely vegetarian. Which means consuming nothing with face, feet or tail, also including nothing of any sort of animal origin (such as dairy or eggs). Most vegans also avoid honey, as it was made by another creature, and refuse to wear leather shoes and clothing. Vegan foods include fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and beans. Actually vegan diet these days is proving to be quite healthy. A study called " The China Study" (great book written on it in the past couple of years) by Colin Campbell. Collin Campbell, top protein researcher, lead study, with the original goal to prove these people needed more protein. Over this 35 year study in China they demonstrated that every degenerative illness could be reversed or prevented with maximum 7 % animal foods in the diet. So this is quite a landmark study. Even Colin Campbell and his family became vegetarian through this process. We realize that enough simple protein can be found in places that we hadn't thought of before.
