chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Defeated With Ph equilibrium and Nutritional Therapy

As a man diagnosed with Cll (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) since 2001, I've had my eyes trained on Google Alerts and on the web in general, regularly finding for breakthroughs, both conventionally and in the alternative treatment arena. Many habitancy who are diagnosed with Cll are told to hold off on any treatment, as the disease often progresses slowly, and any revising with treatment is not permanent. Worse yet, the procedure and aggressiveness of the disease can convert at any time. Patients are told to "watch and wait." This is not a happy way to live.

No role models. The sad truth is that, until this past January 2009, I could find no reference (not one) of any man who was cured of Cll through any kind of original healing -- or alternative -- therapy. The only exception are those who have been cured by way of a bone marrow transplant (Bmt). Unfortunately, many habitancy do not survive the procedure. It is highly risky. Worse yet, a inpatient can survive the Bmt and still have Cll, or design Cll again at a later date.

What Is Leukemia

The five-year time-line. Despite all the research and trials, there is still no conventionally-sanctioned therapy (chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, etc.), short of Bmt, that can effect a cure. Doctors give patients the hope for a perfect remission of five years with some of the available therapies. Not all patients achieve perfect remission in the first round of chemotherapy. And the opportunity of success, measured by five-year survival, decreases with each new form of conventional therapy. Not an encouraging picture. This situation has been clear to me since 2001, when I was forty-six and first diagnosed. Who wants to hear about a five-year life plan when you're forty-six? Not me! While there have been some promising conventional "breakthroughs," the survival rate remains pretty much the same today.

The quest for an alternative. My quest for an alternative treatment, or treatment protocol, has been equally difficult. I have been able to find testimony on the web of leukemia patients who have become cancer-free (acute myelogenous leukemia or acute lymphocytic leukemia), but no such luck for Cll. At best, there were stories of habitancy who had held off their Cll with the controversial laetrile (apricot seed extract). But no one with Cll had become cancer free. I was discouraged, but I never gave up the search, or my attempt to seek a blueprint to good health.

The 2009 breakthrough. In January of this year, my Google Alerts revealed an description written by Steve Freier, a man with Cll who recovered to full cancer-free health. He regained his condition by having his root canals removed and also by taking coral calcium. Because of his experience, I am in the process now of having all my mercury amalgams supplanted with safer ceramics fillings. To find data about his recovery, type "Steve Freier" and "Cll" into Google.

Breakthrough #2. In April 2009, while searching for data about infrared saunas and its effect on leukemia, my husband came across this website: http://www.Clldefeated.com. It is the story of Hessel Baartse, of Adelaide, Australia. He has totally defeated his Cll by means of removing his root canals and mercury amalgams, and by drastically altering his diet and supplementation, with a concentration on restoring his pH levels to a healthy balance. He toll his dentist, www.ericdavisdental.com for his perfect recovery.

There are finally role models for Cll recovery. What used to be a perfect mystery now is a challenge with a blueprint for success. There are now at least two cases of men who have beat the odds and defeated their Cll by means of mercury amalgam and root canal removal, nutritional therapy, and pH balance. The added good news is that this program is likely a blueprint to condition for habitancy with many other continuing condition issues, along with cancers.

The future. Because of the Internet and the speed with which we can share information, more habitancy will be able to find a way to recover their good condition through alternative means.

Leukemia- A Battle Lost

On 28 September 2006, I received an e-mail from a man seeking help for his wife. This is what he wrote:

I write this e-mail to you in order to seek your suggestion concerning my wife's illness.

What Is Leukemia

My wife had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Aml) type M5 in late December 2005. I brought her to Singapore general Hospital (Sgh) on 1 January 2006 for further management and chemotherapy. She had 3 cycles of chemotherapies in the first 3 months. Later she underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant course (Bmt) in late April 2006 until mid May 2006. But unfortunately, on the 75th day after Bmt, the leukemia cell relapsed. After that my wife had another cycle of chemotherapy and also received donor lymphocytes.

Due to financial consideration, I moved my wife for further treatment to Malaysia in mid August 2006. She was admitted into the Subang Jaya healing center (Sjmc) until today. At Sjmc she got another cycle of chemotherapy and received another donor stem cell on 12 August 2006.

But a week ago the leukemia cells were shown to be active again and they industrialized fast before donor stem cells even could work. Five days ago my wife had another cycle of chemotherapy in order to sacrifice the white blood cell count.

I would like to find potential therapy and treatments that will be favorable for my wife. My wife and I are Indonesians. Within the next few days, I must make a decision either to bring back my wife home to Jakarta or stay in Malaysia. I absolutely need your help.

Comments

The above is a 33-year-old lady. Before her determination she presented with the following symptoms: fevers for 1 to 2 weeks, gum pain and bleeding, headaches and diarrhea.

Over the years I have encountered many cases of bone marrow transplant (Bmt). And all the cases that I know of resulted in death. There was this young lady of eighteen. She underwent Bmt in Singapore. After spending so much money, her parents had to bring her home in a coffin. At her wake service, her mom said to me: "If we knew it is like this, we would have stuck to your advice!" She realized her mistake a bit too late!

I know of a someone who had to spend well over 1.5 million ringgit (Us = 3.5 ringgit) to save his wife from leukemia. She too died. Then there was another young lady who just started to work after graduating from her studies in Australia. She had leukemia and she too underwent Bmt. I was told (rightly or wrongly) that she died while on the "operation" table.

Tham is my outpatient who suffered from kidney lymphoma. After undergoing some first chemo-treatment he decided to give up chemotherapy due to severe side effects. He opted for herbs. Within nine months, the cancer went into remission. Soon after he was pronounced cancer-free, his physician recommend that Tham experience Bmt. According to the physician with Bmt he would live ten years longer. Tham declined after consulting me. The demand I posed to Tham at that time was: "The aim of the physician was to prolong his life for ten more years with Bmt, but what was not taken into observation was the risk of dying from Bmt due to assorted complications." It has been eleven years since Tham was diagnosed with cancer. He is very much alive and well today. Tham is still taking the herbs.

In the case of the lady above, fortunately she did not die from the Bmt procedure, but it did not cure her either. Much money had been spent on healing expenses. I only have this to say: Your life is in your hands. Determine wisely!

Myeloid Leukemia Definitions, Classifications And Symptoms

Myeloid leukemia is a group of diseases whose characteristic changes are seen in the bone marrow and blood, where tumor cells infiltrate the blood system; sometimes these cells even spill into the circulating blood other tissues. The belief of myeloid leukemia is from the operation of adolescent white blood cells being produced in excess and therefore inhibiting the production of the general blood cells. These cells are called myeloid cells; they by their operation in the blood disturb the function of the blood cells.

This leukemia has both tumors which are kept untreated to those that are diagnosed and treated immediately, fluctuating from rapid fatality to those which are slow in growing. Therefore on the basis of their rehabilitation procedure they are divided into acute myeloid leukemia (Aml) and lasting myeloid leukemia (Cml).

What Is Leukemia

Aml is seen more in men than in women and more prevalent in citizen older than 65 than in citizen of younger age. Cml is also greater in men than in women but its incidence all the time growth slowing and the people's age increases and gets to the peak of occurrence in mid forties from where there is rapid rise in Cml occurrence. Anyway the incidence of Cml decreased slightly in the past two decades.

The etiology of myeloid leukemia is depended on the type, Aml is related with risk factors such as hereditary (other resident blood disease in the family history; Dic) exposure to occupational chemicals, intense exposure to radiation which may be as a follow of therapeutic reasons and even some drugs, but there is nothing relating the cause of Ml to viral infection in any way.

While the etiology of lasting myeloid leukemia has no obvious relation with cytotoxic drug follow and there is also no evidence connecting it with any viral infection, but cigarette smoking by studies has shown to growth its develop into severe crisis, therefore living with lasting myeloid leukemia and smoking becomes dangerous. Only large dosage of radiation has any adverse follow for Cml formation.

The symptoms of Ml are also depending on the type, either it is Aml or Cml. For Aml patients are presented with some nonspecific symptoms which begin either gradually or at once and the symptoms are leucopenia or leucocytosis, thrombocytopenia. These symptoms are commonly due to anemia in such patients. Other symptoms of are fatigue, anorexia and weight loss and nothing else but getting bruised with inordinate bleeding.

While in Cml the symptoms are at first insidious therefore it is difficult to diagnose a patient based but symptoms, such patients are commonly diagnosed during general curative checkup, or others come to the hospital with complaints fatigue, weight loss, symptoms relating to splenomegaly such as early pleasure during eating, left upper quadrant pain, infections, thrombosis or sometimes bleeding.

When lasting myeloid leukemia progresses symptoms worsened with bone and joint pain, requisite loss of weight which will wish addition the dose of the drugs used for treatment. Chemotherapy is used as rehabilitation of myeloid leukemia but when this fails bone transplant is done.

The New Leukemia Drugs

While chemotherapy, radiation and surgical operation are well known cancer treatment methods, few population untouched by the malignant disease are aware of a new class of medication called targeted therapy drugs which are leading the way in a new, efficient strategy in the war on cancer. Targeted therapy drugs are available for many separate types of cancer but in the fight against leukemia, where surgical operation to take off a tumor is not an option, they are most welcome and improving survival rates.

Targeted therapy is a broad-based term used to delineate a new class of drugs that seek to stop or inhibit the increase (dividing process) of new cancer cells by interfering with exact molecules that "signal" for new cancer cells to grow and develop. Since targeted therapy drugs are directed only at the molecules that "allow" the process of creating cancer cells, they commonly do not harm healthy cells in the way that chemotherapy and radiation does, and is commonly determined less harmful with side-effects than chemotherapy and radiation. Other names used to delineate this class of drugs includes molecularly targeted drugs, and moleculary targeted therapies.

What Is Leukemia

Targeted therapy drugs are used alone or in composition with chemotherapy drugs to maximize results. They are also divided up between first-line and second-line treatment consideration. First line treatment for cancer means that exact drugs, or a composition of drugs, is used in the preliminary round or policy of treatment, before any other drug or composition of drugs is tried. Second-line treatment means that a exact drug, or composition of drugs, is used after first-round treatment was tried and failed, yielded poor results, produced side-effects determined too severe, and when a cancer has reappeared after remission.

Optimism over this new line of cancer drugs should be curbed since not all "targeted therapy drugs" turn out to be beneficial. Gemtuzumab ozogamicin (Mylortag®) was pulled from pharmacy shelves in the summer of 2010 by Pfizer after a closer look by the Fda revealed the drug offered no benefit when used with chemotherapy drugs, and after a greater estimate of deaths occurred in the group of patients who received Mylotarg compared with those receiving chemotherapy alone.

First-Line treatment targeted therapy drugs for leukemia include.

Imatinib (Gleevec®) is used to treat:

Philadelphia chromosome unavoidable lasting myelogenous leukemia (Cml). Hypereosinophilic syndrome or lasting eosinophilic leukemia (Cel). Relapsed or refractory Philadelphia chromosome unavoidable acute lymphoblastic leukemia (All).

With this drug, more than 90% of patients will be able to keep Cml in check for at least five years, reducing it to a chronic, manageable condition in that time. Gleevec is determined to be one of the most prosperous examples of targeted therapy, available today. It works by blocking the operation of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. Gleevec, beloved in 2001, was one of the first targeted therapy drugs to come out and is one of the most widely used since it is also used to treat gastrointestinal stromal tumors (Gists). Ninety percent of all lasting myelogenous leukemia cases animated the Philadelphia chromosome.

Nilotinib (Tasigna®) is used as a first line treatment to treat lasting myelogenous leukemia (Cml) that is Philadelphia chromosome positive. Early results of an on-going 5 year study revealed in December, 2010, show that Tasigna might be excellent to the beloved Gleevec for treating Cml patients. Tasigna cut the estimate of a tell-tale protein in the blood in three times as many patients with leukemia as did it's predecessor, Gleevec.

In a Bloomberg story stemming from press issue issued by the drug's maker, the firm reported: "In the clinical trial, designed to consequent about 900 patients for five years, approximately three times more population taking 300 milligrams of Tasigna twice daily had only a trace estimate of the Bcr-Abl protein in their blood after 24 months. The other patients took either 400 milligrams of Gleevec once a day or 400 milligrams of Tasigna twice a day."

Tasigna is mabe by Novartis, the same firm that created Gleevec. Novartis considers Tasigna the excellent successor to Gleevec, whose patent runs out in 2015. The down-side of Tasigna is that it carries a black box warning from the Fda for an irregular heart rhythm (Qt prolongation) that can lead to fainting, loss of consciousness, seizures, or sudden death. Even with this warning, the Fda granted Tasigna first-line treatment status for Philadelphia chromosome-positive lasting myeloid leukemia in the lasting phase in June, 2010.

Dasatinib (Sprycel®) was once the go to drug when Gleevec and other types of medications don't work initially, no longer work, or are not administered due to their severe side-effects, but is now a first-line treatment drug for Cml. Sprycel is used to treat:

Chronic myelogenous leukemia (Cml). This includes patients with Cml that is Philadelphia chromosome positive. (Approved first-line treatment). Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (All) that is Philadelphia chromosome positive, in patients who are not able to use other drugs together with Gleevec. (Second-line treatment).

Sprycel works the same way as Gleevec, by blocking the operation of an abnormal protein that tells cancer cells to multiply. Sprycel received first-line treatment status for Cml-Philadelphia chromosome by the Fda in October, 2010.

Second-Line treatment targeted therapy drugs for leukemia include:

Tretinoin (Vesanoid®) is used to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia in patients who did not benefit from other types of chemotherapy, or whose condition improved with other types of chemotherapy, but then got worse. Tretinoin is used to yield remission (a decrease or disappearance leukemia symptoms ) in Apl, however, other medications must be used after treatment with tretinoin to preclude the cancer from returning. Vesanoid comes with an Fda warning for a group of symptoms linked to its main ingredient which is a type of Vitamin A.

Rituximab (Rituxan®) is used in composition with other drugs (primarily the chemo drug fludarabine) to treat B-cell lasting lymphocytic leukemia, together with hairy cell leukemia (a subtype of Cll). Rituxan comes with an Fda warning that oncologists make aware to their patients.

Alemtuzumab (Campath®) is used to treat B-cell lasting lymphocytic leukemia (B-Cll) after a chemotherapy drug called fludarabine has failed. Campath comes with an Fda warning that patients will be informed about.

Ofatumumab (Arzerra®) is beloved by the Food and Drug supervision (Fda) to treat lasting lymphocytic leukemia (Cll) in adults that have not gotten best with a chemotherapy/targeted drug therapy animated fludarabine (chemo), and alemtuzumab (targeted).

Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in Children

Cancer in any of its forms is known to the community as a condition of adults or elder persons; still it can occur at any age even while the care-free childhood period. Children diagnosed with cancer must rapidly grow up and learn hoe to face the illness as well as their parents that will have to be able to care for them.

The most common form of malignant tumors in children is the acute lymphocyte Leukemia and it is known to influence about 2500 pediatric patients every year. The acute forms of Leukemia fabricate rapidly and spread to the whole body in just a few months if left untreated. Knowing how to recognize the disease seems to be most foremost as Leukemia can lead to death in a very short time if not treated properly.

What Is Leukemia

Leukemia develops inside the bone marrow and spreads to the lymph nodes, liver, spleen and nervous system. Cancerous marrow cells furnish abnormal blood cells; insufficient or inefficient red blood cells lead to anemia, a low estimate of white blood cells leaves the body helpless to infections, and decreased estimate of platelets caused bruising and bleedings. Normal symptoms like headaches, weakness or vomiting also occur when the cancer reaches other main organs.

No way of prevention is known to us today as leukemia cannot be connected to any lifestyle factors. A good life expectation can only be reached if a physician is seen immediately when symptoms occur and a proper treatment is swiftly administered.

The most specific diagnose is the bone marrow biopsy when a small estimate of marrow is extracted from the thighbone with a needle. The small test of the tissue can fabricate the presence of cancerous cells inside the bone marrow. Added analysis includes blood tests for searching changes in estimate and function of the three vital blood cells. In Leukemia a risen estimate of white cells are found together with a decreased estimate of red ones. Straight through the blood tests unavoidable diagnose of the particular form of blood cancer can be established.

Cancer cells are hazardous as they divide very swiftly and an productive primer treatment with chemotherapy must stop their multiplication. More types of chemotherapeutics are required to kill all cancerous cells as Leukemia is known to spread very rapidly throughout the whole body. The drug therapy is a long-lasting process and can furnish some side-effects such as hair loss, infections, tiredness, nausea, anorexia and vomiting.
New ways of therapy are searched that should only influence the cancerous cells unlike approved drugs. The stem cells transplantation targeting to replace the lost marrow working cellularity seems to give hopeful results.

Blood cancer can reoccur and therefore a treatment with stem cells can give more productive results. If Leukemia cannot be treated, doctors try ways of making the patient's life with cancer easier by relieving the symptoms. About 85% of the children that have survived 5 years without cancer reoccurring are carefully to have been cured.

medicine Of Acute Myeloid Leukemia - Hanging On To Life

Acute myeloid leukemia is a heterogeneous cancer of the blood and bone marrow. This tumor occurs as a supervene of an over yield of youthful white blood cell which is called myeloblast.

The name of the disease is gotten from the blood cell produced in excess. The youthful white blood cell produced gets into the bone marrow and it's over yield hinders the yield of the general blood cells.

What Is Leukemia

The main cause of the display of these symptoms is as a supervene of the loss of general function of blood by these myelobast. Since they are youthful and sell out the mature and proper functioning blood, their function as blood cells is greatly reduced. One of the functions of blood affected in acute myeloid leukemia is fighting against infection.

Patients with acute myeloid leukemia are de facto infected due to reduced immunity against infection. an additional one very common symptom in patients suffering from acute myeloid leukemia is anemia. Anemia is as a supervene of reduced yield of general red blood cells and platelets. Anemia is commonly severe with different levels of severity seen in different patients. Acute myeloid leukemia has other symptoms like being de facto bruised and having swollen gum, bleeding of the nose, fever, skin pallor and even shortness of breath.

The treatment of acute myeloid leukemia in a newly diagnosed inpatient consist of chemotherapy ( the type of chemotherapy used is age dependent) aimed to speedily induce total remission, when this is achieved, added therapy is then aimed at cure of the disease (by eliminating any undetected residuals of the leukemic cells). Therefore the treatment process is divided into two stages.

The first stage is the stage of induction. The goal of this therapy is to get faultless remission by reducing the quantity of the leukemic cells in the bone marrow and circulating blood to an undetectable level. The commonly used faultless remission induction is a combined chemotherapy of cytarabine and anthracycline. Cytarabine is administered intravenously with dosage of 100 - 200mg/m2/day for one week. Anthracycline consists of daunorubicin is administered intravenously 45-60mg/m2 on day1, 2, and 3.

When induction therapy is completed, the bone marrow is examined. If blast cells are more than 5% with up to 20% cellular cells, induction therapy is performed again with dose similar to the first but cytarabine is given for 5 and antracycline 2 days. But after the second therapy if there is no clear supervene stem cell transplant is considered, though this is only possible in inpatient younger than 65 years.

The second stage is post remission or consolidation therapy, which is aimed at cure of patients with acute myeloid leukemia after the leukemic cells becomes undetectable. In this therapy treatment is based on the patient's condition, this therapy involves an added oppressive chemotherapy of 3 to 5 courses. Patients with high risk of cytogenetics are given allogeneic stem cell transplant. Patients who stem cell transplant is not convenient for, are treated with a mixture therapy of histamine dihydrochloride (ceplene) and interleukin 2.

The treatment of acute myeloid leukemia has shown good prognosis in the time past especially if prognosis is made early ant treatment is started immediately.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month

Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month is right colse to the corner, so now is a great time to get prepared. Every September, thousands of population join together to commemorate this very special occasion. They work hard by making every exertion possible to raise money for blood cancer research. The disease affects 139, 860 Americans alone per year. In other words, every 4 minutes an additional one someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Clearly, these numbers are grim and strong operation needs to be taken. While there is already a qualified number of exploration being done towards looking the cure, we have not succeeded yet. Thus, more help is all the time needed, and it starts with you.

If you want to get involved, there are any ways to do it. One of the best awareness events is organized by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event, named the Light the Night Walk is a charity walk held every year for communities across the nation to raise money for donations. The funds raised by the Light the Night walkers go towards providing four leading things: blood cancer research, educational materials, local sustain groups and counseling, and free personalized aid for victims and their families.

What Is Leukemia

The Light the Night walk is a crucial component of the fundraising process, and the investigate for looking the cure for leukemia depends upon it. While the procedure of this event, every Light the Night walker carries with them special illuminated balloons which are color coated for specific purposes. White balloons are for leukemia survivors, red balloons denote leukemia awareness supporters, and gold balloons are reserved for those who have lost a loved one to blood cancer.

If you would like to join the Light the Night Walk, or host your own Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness event, Motivators also offers a wide option of Leukemia Awareness Month giveaways for this purpose. Our business understands the stupendous number of passion and emotion that this event carries with it, so we want to make the best exertion possible to provide you with promotional items that are both sensitive and appropriate. With that being said, there are any giveaways that would be ideal for this cause.

For one, the official seal of Leukemia & Lymphoma is the red blood droplet. If you want to promote Leukemia Awareness in any way, something like a droplet shaped magnet is a classy way to do it. This is a great item to use for getting population to come to your blood drive or fundraiser. Businesses can also get practice imprinting done on these blood drop magnets, along with an inspirational message of your choosing. It isn't done for marketing purposes, but rather just a pro way to show that your business is aware of the fight against blood cancer, and that you care.

Another overwhelming giveaway for this opening is our practice awareness bracelets. The idea of these bracelets began any years ago as the "LiveStrong" bracelets, led by cyclist Lance Armstrong to promote the fight against testicular cancer. Though this item has been worn in gift day for just about any purpose, the view itself is still rooted in the fight against cancer. These bracelets are subtle, and exceptionally approved for promoting the fight against leukemia.

If you want to know more about blood cancer, all the information known about the disease can be found at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Leukemia - A Form of Cancer

Leukemia is a form of cancer that develops in the bone marrow of human beings. Leukemia is normally caused by an uncontrolled production of blood cells. Those blood cells that yield at expansive rates are the white blood cells. There are two forms of leukemia; acute leukemia and continuing leukemia. Acute leukemia makes the bone marrow very crowded and prevents the bone marrow from producing salutary blood cells. This type of leukemia occurs mostly in children and long adults. In children, this is an very base cause of death and should be treated immediately. If not treated immediately, the malignant cells will spread to other tissues and organs throughout the body.

Chronic leukemia normally takes months or sometimes even years to construct in one's body and advance to the state of acute leukemia. continuing leukemia is most base to occur in older adults but there is the possibility of it occurring in any age group. Once detected, treatment isn't necessarily needed immediately. Sometimes doctors will hold off on treatment to find the best way to deal with the disease after they monitor its development.

What Is Leukemia

There is no definitive way to preclude leukemia but avoiding such risk factors as smoking, avoiding exposure to chemicals and avoiding exposure to radiation might help preclude the development of leukemia.

Below are the symptoms of leukemia:

o Dizziness
o Nausea
o Swollen tonsils
o Fever, chills, night sweats and other flu-like symptoms
o Bone pain
o Joint pain
o Unintentional weight loss
o Paleness
o Weakness and fatigue
o Diarrhea
o Malaise
o Swollen or bleeding gums
o Frequent infection
o Enlarged liver and spleen
o Constant headaches

For each dissimilar type of leukemia, acute and chronic, there are dissimilar types of treatments. For acute leukemia patients are treated by induction chemotherapy. Induction chemotherapy is when doctors use dissimilar medicines to bring about new bone marrow remission. Treatments also contain eliminating any remaining leukemia cells; which is called consolidation therapy. There is also deterrent therapy. deterrent therapy is the process of preventing the cancer from spreading to the brain and the nervous system. If the sick person is not responding to any of these treatments then doctors will suggest a bone marrow transplantation procedure. Many cases of acute leukemia can be cured and some of them might not be cured.

For continuing leukemia there is no definite cure. Most treatments are combined with chemotherapy and healthful shots of prednisone and prednisolone. Despite the lack of a cure for continuing leukemia, these cases can be controlled for long periods of time without any setbacks.

There are four factors in determining how well the body will answer to leukemia treatment. Those four factors are the age of the patient, the percentages of leukemia cells in the blood and bone marrow, the degree to which definite systems of the body are affected by the leukemia and if there are any chromosome abnormalities in the leukemia cells.

Leukemia patients can seek counseling and maintain groups straight through the American Cancer society and the National Cancer Institute.

chronic Leukemia surgery - carry on it in India

The availability of high capability resources and most experienced cancer surgeons in India makes chronic leukaemia surgical operation now inherent in India at low risk and at very less cost. Leukemia authentically means 'many white cells in the blood'. The white cells are part of the body's immune system, and there are some sub-groups of white cells that have Separate sorts of roles in recognizing and dealing with 'invaders' such as bacteria and viruses as well as other types of foreign protein. All of the blood cells originate in the bone marrow and leukaemia which is also known as blood cancer is a disease where the bone marrow produces large numbers of abnormal white cells. This means that the general marrow is pushed into smaller and smaller areas. This results in fewer general cells being produced and gives rise to some of the symptoms. It is inherent to have chronic leukemia for months or even years without knowing it. The symptoms are varied, but many people consideration Separate symptoms like tiredness, bruising authentically (often without having had any blow or fall), repeated infections, enlarged lymph glands, weight loss, night sweats, fever. These are most common symptoms appear when sick person suffers from chronic leukemia. The surgical policy of chronic leukemia surgical operation is very complex and it requires an experienced cancer surgeon for the treatment. There are many types of leukemia, each of which is classified according to the exact cell type affected by the disease. chronic leukemia is a gradually progressive form of leukemia and tends to involve more mature cell types. It may not need rehabilitation immediately, but if rehabilitation is required it is normally chemotherapy, given in the form of tablets. The cause of leukemia is not known. Older people with early stage Cll have a general life expectancy. rehabilitation in the form of chemotherapy will be required for those who are sick or who have many enlarged lymph glands, or who become significantly anaemic. Chemotherapy is normally given in the form of tablets. Other chemotherapy drugs such as fludarabine may be used in late stage disease.

Leukemia is a Type of Cancer

Leukemia is a type of cancer. It kills many individuals each year. There are treatments ready for this disease.

Leukemia is a sure type of cancer. Cancer is a disease that causes cells to come to be abnormal. Normal cells in the body divide and than die when they are no longer needed. Abnormal cells divide more than they should and do not die when they are no longer needed. It begins in the blood or the tissue that forms the blood. Bone marrow forms blood and often this disease starts in bone marrow. Leukemia cancer causes many abnormal blood cells to produce.

What Is Leukemia

There are two types of leukemia cancer: acute leukemia and persisting leukemia.

A man who is diagnosed with persisting leukemia cancer often does not have any symptoms. Leukemia cells in a persisting leukemia patient often can still work as white blood cells. persisting leukemia moderately worsens over time.

A man who is diagnosed with acute leukemia cancer often does not have leukemia cells that can function as white blood cells. Acute leukemia worsens very quickly.

A quarterly corporeal exam might lead a physician to think a man has leukemia. When this disease is suspected in a patient the physician will regularly order blood work on the patient. A faultless blood count that includes the count of the whole of white blood cells a man has will often be able to diagnose the disease.

One form of medicine for this disease is radiation therapy. Radiation therapy uses radiation to kill leukemia cells. an additional one form of medicine for leukemia is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy involves using drugs to kill leukemia cells. There are also other types of treatments for individuals who have this disease.

Scientific Explanations for the Differentiated Results of Leukemia Treatments

Leukemia is a malignant disease that originates at the level of the bone marrow. The disease is characterized by an impaired output of blood cells. Leukemia refers to incomplete development of white blood cells, which procure at the level of the marrow and inside the bloodstream. The dysfunctional cells multiply at abnormally fast rates, at last outnumbering their normal, salutary counterparts. Unlike general cells, replica cells are incomplete and they can't fulfill their role inside the organism. Furthermore, they work on the body's output of general cells, triggering a decrease in the estimate of white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets.

There are assorted types of leukemia, each of them following different patterns of progression. Leukemia is also categorized according to the type of blood cells involved in causing the disease. Judging by the type of cells responsible for causing the cancer, leukemia can be myelogenous or lymphocytic. according to the pattern and the rate of evolution of the cancer, leukemia can be whether acute or chronic. Acute leukemia has a rapid rate of progression, while persisting leukemia evolves slowly.

What Is Leukemia

The treatment for leukemia involves a series of cancer therapies and continued courses of cancer medications. Inspecting the fact that there is no cure for leukemia in present, the results of the available treatments are fluctuant. Patients' responsiveness to leukemia treatments and therapies are strongly influenced by age, sex, the type of leukemia, and the promptitude of curative intervention. Early determination and prompt treatment considerably growth the chances of faultless recovery.

An interesting aspect of leukemia is that it predominantly affects Caucasian people. Although the disease can occur among population belonging to any ethnical group, leukemia is more common in white people. Furthermore, the faultless remission of leukemia is strongly influenced by race. Although leukemia is less likely to occur in non-Caucasians, this category of population is by far less responsive to cancer treatment. recent studies in the field indicate that non-whites are six times less likely to recover thoroughly after the treatment of leukemia.

These facts suggest that genetic factors have a great contribution to the occurrence and the progression of leukemia. In addition, genetic factors strongly work on patients' responsiveness to treatment. In order to detect the exact genetic factors responsible for generating differentiated reactions to the treatment of leukemia, curative scientists have conducted assorted expound studies in the last decade.

Medical scientists have discovered that patients with acute myelogenous leukemia who present cytogenic abnormalities tend to rejoinder a lot better to treatment than patients who don't have these genetic abnormalities. The category of patients with inescapable cytogenic abnormalities is more likely to accomplish faultless remission after completing the treatment of leukemia. These abnormalities are very common in white people, thus explaining the racial-differentiated results of cancer treatments and therapies. curative scientists have connected low responsiveness to leukemia treatments with the presence of 8-21 cytogenic translocation in patients or the absence of any genetic abnormalities. Patients who present the so called inverse 16 cytogenic translocation commonly rejoinder a lot better to the treatment of leukemia.

Medical scientists maintain that these findings will not conclude pronounced changes in the treatment of leukemia. However, they expound that population with low-responsiveness to common forms of treatment should receive composition treatments in order to accomplish faultless remission. Scientists believe that in future population diagnosed with leukemia will receive personalized treatments, according to their age, sex and ethnicity.

Coping With Leukemia through Cord Blood rehabilitation

Do you suffer leukemia? It will be your good news then. You can have a good and effective rehabilitation straight through cord blood. This blood is determined as the strong source for stem cells. Stem cells are obtained from embryos. Yet, the rehabilitation using this kind of cell is the right solution for some disorder such as leukemia.

Stem cells have the quality to replicate themselves to treat, repair, and also cure the damaged cells by some diseases including leukemia. Historically, the rehabilitation by using this type of cell was formerly completed in 1988. Yet, the general social could way this course in 1995. Today, you are able to meet cold blood banking for storing the stem cells as well as cord blood.

What Is Leukemia

Cord blood will be the right riposte for some diseases. On June 2009, this blood was believed to be able to treat eighty diseases. It is a possible rehabilitation for patients with leukemia, specifically for those who have no acceptable source for bone narrow transplant.

Then, how to use this cord blood as the rehabilitation for leukemia? The process of the rehabilitation begins when the blood is obtained from the giving birth mother. The patient is then given quarterly chemotherapy and followed by the high-dose chemotherapy. It is able to kill either general or cancer-producing blood cells of the bone marrow. Since stem cell is able to kill the former cells, it will replicate and replace for new cells.

Furthermore, the real transplantation happens when the patient is injected with the stem cells. They are able to take over the new white blood cells creation of colse to 10 up to 14 days so that the output of your blood will gently return to normal. In addition, you can perhaps need transfusions of some substances such as platelets and red blood cells since they are not able to reproduce on their own.

Cord blood can be truly collected right after the birth. In order to keep it sterilized, it is then cryogenically stored either in a social or underground bank until it is needed for transplant. In addition, this blood can be stored for indefinite time until it is needed for the treatment.
