The truth about Vitamin C-does it really help to prevent colds?

The truth about Vitamin C-does it really help to prevent colds? Tube. Duration : 2.53 Mins.

They were given lemons and limes which are high in Vitamin C and this helped to cleanse their overly thick blood-this worked for scurvy but what about the common cold, flues, and leukemia in which ones blood has the exact opposite problem which is too many white blood cells and one's blood is thin and cleansing?
